CONSTRUCTION RISK MANAGEMENT

Our risk management team helps owners mitigate exposure to risk during all phases of construction by preparing a Construction Risk Assessment (CRA). During the CRA we assist by performing a thorough review of all available project documents to ensure that the drawings are coordinated, project schedule is achievable, and the budget is adequate for the intended scope of work. We identify areas of vulnerability on the project and leverage our experience to offer recommendations for managing potential risks.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AS AGENT

Under the standard Construction Manager as Agent (CMAA) delivery program, Masterplan Consulting Group acts as a first party manager to the owner and a third party manager of the design team and general contractor. This delivery method utilizes an open book approach, where the owner is invited to be as involved as they prefer during the feasibility, design, and construction phases of the project.  As the CMAA, we simply work as a direct extension and agent for the owner to verify and oversee all aspects of the project.

PRE-CONSTRUCTION

Engaging Masterplan Consulting Group in the early stages of planning and design ensures that our clients receive the most cost-effective and efficient project. We perform budget development, constructability reviews, and value engineering options. The knowledge we gain from this approach allows a seamless transition from the conceptual and design phases into construction.

CONSTRUCTION

Masterplan Consulting Group will coordinate and oversee the execution of construction to assure that the project is completed safely, within budget and schedule requirements, and according to the design intent.

POST-CONSTRUCTION

The end is just the beginning. We understand that the project does not end when construction is completed. During the course of construction, we have our client's end goal in mind. After the punch-list is completed and the project is financially closed-out, we assist our clients with managing their vendors to procure and install FF&E, and training their staff to maintain their new space.
